ABOUT

Eating Myself was born out of the urge to talk about the relationship between women and food, and eating as an essential part of Peruvian and Latin American tradition.

Through storytelling, movement and music, Eating Myself aims to bring the audience closer to their own roots and traditions. On stage cooking is used to generate an intimate sensory experience full of flavour.

Eating Myself is presented by Pepa Duarte and The Rose Collective.

SINOPSIS

Eating Myself is a one-woman show that explores the brave story of a woman trying to find her identity through food, family, and traditions. A communal experience through cooking while digging into the performer’s deep fight around body image and self-care. This is a shared ritual with South American flavour, that will take audiences back to their roots.
